making a purchase
To make a purchase, simply browse our online shop and add any items you wish to buy into the shopping cart. By submitting your order you are offering to buy goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purpose of supplying those goods.
When placing an order, you agree that any and all information given is accurate and complete. The contract of sale exists between you and mat life once we accept your order by dispatching the product to you. When this happens we will confirm the acceptance by sending you an email.
The confirmation email is sent to the email address given in your order form and will include details of the products ordered, payment method, cost incl. P&P and usual delivery times. Please check all the details on this confirmation email are correct and contact us as soon as possible if not. If your order has not been accepted, you will receive an email from us telling you the reasons why.
We will contact you by e-mail or telephone regarding any delivery delays or security issues.
availability
We try to keep our website as up to date as possible, but sometimes items do sell out quickly. When this happens, we’ll do our best to offer you similar alternatives or let you know when we’ll be able to fulfil your order. If you would like a refund, monies will be paid within 24 hours.
delivery
Please allow 14 days for delivery of your garments. We aim to dispatch all orders within two working days and postage should take an additional one or two days.
All our orders are sent by first class post using recorded delivery (‘signed for’) so that they are trackable if they go missing.
Our standard UK postage charge is £3.50; there is no charge for orders over £60.00 when delivering within the UK. For orders to Europe, we charge £8.00 for postage, and £12.00 for all orders shipped outside Europe.
All deliveries require a signature, so we recommend you provide us with a daytime address such as a work address. You will be notified via e-mail once the item has been dispatched.
We always try our utmost to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and sometimes delays are out of our control. Any dates we specify for delivery of goods are approximate and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay.
Please note if your delivery address is outside of the UK, you may have to pay import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. These can vary widely from country to country and we recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.
payment
We accept most major credit/debit cards including: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, American Express, Solo, or Maestro and via PayPal. All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer which require the card holder’s name, address and telephone number. These must match the exact details registered with the card user. We will not debit your card until your items are ready for dispatch.
If your payment card issuer refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
cancellation policy
If you wish to cancel your order within 24 hours of placing the order, please send an email to: hello@matlife.co.uk with the subject line: ‘URGENT CANCELLATION’, and include your name, address, and product details in the email.
If you wish to cancel your order 24 hours or more after the order is placed, you will need to wait until you receive the product and then follow our returns policy below.
Any sum debited to us from your credit or debit card will be re-credited to your account within 30 days of your order.
returns policy
We understand that when you order online you don’t have an opportunity to try on the clothes and that’s why we offer a no-quibble returns policy. We are pleased to offer refunds on any full price items returned to us in perfect condition within 14 days of receipt of order with proof of purchase.
Sale items may be refunded within 7 days of receipt of order if they are sent back in perfect condition with proof of purchase. After 7 days of receipt of order, sale items can only be returned in exchange for a credit note if they are sent back in perfect condition within 14 days of receipt of order with proof of purchase.
Faulty items may be returned at any time. Please note we are unable to refund postage paid unless the fault is with us. This does not affect your statutory rights.
To receive a refund, simply fill in the returns form you received with your delivery and include it in the parcel with the item(s) that you are returning. Goods are returned to mat life at your own expense.
Please note that when sending a return, the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us; we strongly recommend that you send it recorded post and always retain proof of postage.

exchange policy
We are happy to exchange any products that are damaged, faulty or incorrectly shipped for any circumstances that are due to our error within 30 days of dispatch.To receive an exchange just fill in the exchange form you received with your delivery and include it in the parcel with the item(s) that you are returning.
When we’re at fault, we will reimburse the postage costs but please note that when sending a return, the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us; we strongly recommend that you send it recorded post and always retain proof of postage.

All prices listed on matlife.co.uk are correct at the time of entering the information, however, we
reserve the right to change prices of any product at any time.
If a product is advertised at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or a supplier error we reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order whether or not said order has been confirmed. In such a case we will make you aware of this and a full refund will be given, if required.
